1.1 Does the web-store contain inventory from all McFly Outdoors locations?


No, at this time only McFly Outdoors - Bridgeport inventory is on our website. We are currently working to get all inventory from all our locations on the web-store.


If there is any product you don't see on the web-store, Please give us a call. We may have it at one of our other locations.

2 Firearms
2.1 How do I purchase a firearm from McFly Outdoors?


Purchasing a firearm online can be broken down in to three easy to follow steps:


1. Choose a firearm and complete your purchase

- Create an account or log in.

- Add product(s) to cart.

- Select appropriate shipping method.


(Anyone customer who doesn't select the correct shipping when buying a firearms will not receive the product until the correct shipping amount is paid.)

- Enter billing and credit card information. Please note: You must be a resident of the state in which you wish to transfer the firearm.

- Review and submit order.


2. Arrange the transfer with an FFL Dealer

- Contact the FFL dealer and let them know you would like them to receive a firearm for transfer from McFly Outdoors.

- Provide the FFL dealer with our contact information so they can send a copy of their FFL either via fax or email.

  • * Ask about the transfer fee. Usually FFL dealers will charge a small fee in order to take care of the background check and 4473.


3. Pick up your firearm and complete the transfer

- Watch the tracking information that we provide you. Once the order has arrived at the FFL dealer of your choosing, call your FFL for a good pickup time.

- In order for the transfer to be approved, you FFL Dealer is required to have you fill out a 4473 and pass a background check through NICS. This is the same form and background check you would complete if you purchased a firearm in any gun store. Once you pass the background check, you are free to take your firearm home!

2.2 What is a 4473 form?


A Firearms Transaction Record, or Form 4473, is a form promulgated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in the United States Department of Justice that is filled out when a person purchases a firearm from a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder (such as a gun shop).

3.1 How do I track my order?

3.2 When can I cancel or modify my order?

To ship your order to you as quickly as possible, we process orders as soon as we receive them.  Once your order has been processed to the warehouse we are unable to cancel or modify your order. You may return or exchange your product once you have received it.

3.3 What if my order arrives damaged?


We’re sorry if your order arrives damaged. If your items arrive damaged, please keep all boxes and packing materials and immediately contact us at 304-452-8227. Our hours are:

4.1 What is McFly Outdoors Return Policy?


McFly Outdoors Return Policy


  • Absolutely no returns will be given without a receipt.
  • Returns with a receipt older than 30 days will be given a store credit for the lowest sale price of the item being returned.
  • Credit card and debit card refunds will be credited back to the card it was purchased on.
  • Absolutely no returns will be accepted on used merchandise. McFly Outdoors reserves the right to determine if an item is “used” or “worn.”
  • If merchandise is damaged an exchange or store credit will be issued.
  • McFly Outdoors reserves the right to not accept returned merchandise without original packaging and/or tags.


Defective Footwear Return Policy (Policy Effective 10/16/14)

Individual manufacturers have warranties that guarantee their product to be free of defects.  This does not include wear and tear damage that naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal wear or aging. If you feel your footwear is defective, you may return it for a store credit. We will not accept any returns for defective footwear without a receipt.


If the product is defective, you will receive an adjusted store credit based upon your ownership of the product, as per the chart:

5.1 Does McFly Outdoors have an indoor gun or archery range?


YES, We have both at our Horner Location! We also have an outdoor archery shooting tower. Below you will find the rates of our indoor & outdoor ranges.

5.2 What are the Gun Range Rules?
  Children must be at least 10 years of age to be allowed on the shooting range. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent or guardian and supervised at all times.                        
  Firearms must be pointed down range at all times while in your assigned shooting lane.
  Unattended firearms must be unloaded and placed in a range bag, case or on your assigned shooting bench with muzzle facing down range, and action open.
  Firearms, magazines, and speed loaders must be loaded at the firing line.
  All firearms not on the firing line must be unloaded with their action open and magazine removed.
  Report any unsafe activity of conditions to a McFly Outdoors employee immediately.
  Never bring a loaded firearm out of the shooting range. If your gun malfunctions, lay it on the shooting bench facing down range and notify a McFly Outdoors employee.
  McFly Outdoors reserves the right to inspect all firearms and ammunition for safety considerations.
  Dry practice is allowed only on the firing line.
  Fire at authorized targets only. Use the appropriate size target, placed at eye level, to ensure your shots strike the backstop and not the floor, ceiling, or target holder.
  Firing a shot on the range that results in the bullet striking anything other than the target and/or backstop, creating any damage, may result in a minimum repair fine of $75.00 and/or your removal from the range. 
  Only shoot at your target, cross firing of targets is prohibited.
  Eating, drinking, smoking and the use of alcohol or drugs is prohibited on the range. Anyone believed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused the use of the range.
  No muzzleloading firearms may be fired.
  Shotgun slugs may be fired. No buckshot or birdshot may be fired.
  You may collect your own brass that is inside your stall and behind the firing line. Brass from other shooters and all brass that falls in front of the firing line may not be collected.
  While on the range, no more than 2 people can be on a given lane at a time.  In addition, there may only be one shooter on the firing lane at a time.
  Approved eye & ear protection must be worn at all times while on the range.
  There are to be NO hand to hand transfers of firearms. 
    If you want to pass a firearm to another shooter, place the weapon on the firing line bench and step back.
    The other shooter may then step forward and pick up the weapon.



5.3 Does McFly Outdoors offer any type of lessons?


Yes, We offer firearms and archery lessons at our Horner location. Making sure our customers are comfortable and confident with their product is very important to us! Contact our Horner Location to schedule your lesson!

One on One / Group Gun Lessons

One on One Cost- $30.00 per person

One on one lessons are 1 hour. Learn proper break down, maintenance, shooting technique & firearm safety.

Group Cost- $100.00

Group lessons are 1 hour. . Learn proper break down, maintenance, shooting technique & firearm safety. (Limit 4 people per lesson)


One on One / Group Archery Lessons

One on One Cost- $20.00

One on one lessons are 30 minutes. Learn proper shooting form & technique.

Group Cost- $75.00

Group lessons are 30 minutes. Learn proper shooting form & technique. (Limit 4 people per lesson.)
